I have had some novels about BoD published and have now also published for the normal book my novels as eBooks for the Apple iPhone / iPod Touch. Meanwhile, I have far more sales of these eBooks with the normal book (on 500 per week, and rising). EBookReader The software for the iPhone, I wrote myself.
Now I'm looking forward to them, my co-authors to also allow your novels / books to publish as eBooks for the iPhone.
Why eBooks currently on the iPhone:
- is the iPhone / iPod touch 50 million copies sold worldwide available - worldwide sales their books online directly in iTunes 5 million customers in Germany alone
- with the iTunes AppStore exists an optimal distribution channel on which your books without much marketing are already found
- Marketing: Your books will be seen directly in iTunes and can download a trial version to be read (a few chapters)
- it stimulates the normal book sales
- I own more books than sell eBooks than in normal trading
Some Fast Facts :
- For Release need is like a PDF BoD is required. In addition, some information about the content and optional chapter / index with page references and links to Web content
-. Selling price determined by you. Price scales are based on the Apple of many possible sale prices on the iTunes App Store (free of charge, 0.79 EUR, 1.99 EUR, ... 9.99 EUR, ...)
- possibility the books as a trial version is set, then in eBookReader directly mentioned the possibility to buy the remaining chapters
- you get 50% of the sale price, far higher than in BoD or another publisher. There is no minimum sale price necessary
-. As with BoS is a setup charge / Mastering required. The fees are for you as an introduction price 39 EUR and amount to 1.99 per month (incl. tax)
- you will have to not deal with Apple, as Apple Developer must be registered in the U.S. or apply for a tax number, etc. (required for sale in the App Store, since Apple is a company in the U.S.)
- the eBookReader supports portrait and landscape, bookmarks, index / chapter selection, Email / Web Links in the index (eg to other directories, your website, etc.) Read more at reboot
